Read the score and the issue list: errors block screen readers, warnings weaken the experience.

Export a fresh PDF and check it again until the structural checks pass.
Roughly one in six people lives with a disability, and for blind and low-vision readers a PDF is either a document or a wall, depending on structure they cannot see and you cannot see either, unless you check. This PDF accessibility checker inspects the invisible layer: the title a screen reader announces, the language it uses to pronounce the text, the tags that give the document a navigable structure, and the alt text that stands in for images.
The checker is honest about its scope. It automates the structural tests that catch most real-world failures, the untagged exports, the missing titles, the scans with no text at all, and it explains each one in plain language with a concrete fix. It does not pretend to certify full PDF/UA compliance, which also needs reading-order review and human judgement; think of it as the essential first gate before a specialist audit.
Everything runs locally in your browser, so confidential documents, HR policies, medical leaflets, exam papers and legal notices, can be checked without being uploaded anywhere. Run it before every publication and an inaccessible PDF never has to be discovered by the reader it excludes.
