About the Image Cropper

A good crop is the fastest edit there is: cut the distraction, keep the subject, match the frame your platform wants. This cropper gives you a live selection box plus one-click aspect ratios for profile photos, thumbnails and widescreen banners.

What you select is what you get, pixel for pixel, exported as PNG or high-quality JPG. No accounts, no uploads, no waiting.

Where it helps most

One photo, every platform shape.

Profile pictures

The 1 to 1 preset covers profile pictures and Instagram posts. The preview shows exactly what the final image will contain, so there are no surprises after download.

Social posts

The 4 to 5 preset suits portrait posts that fill more of the feed. Draggable and resizable, the selection box reframes any photo for the taller format.

Thumbnails and headers

The 16 to 9 preset fits video thumbnails and headers. A photo that looks great as a landscape keeps its subject when reframed for the wide format.

Prints and custom

The 3 to 2 preset covers classic photo prints, and a free mode with no ratio lock handles anything custom. Move and resize the box freely.

Cropping well

Habits behind good crops.

Rule of thirds

Keep the subject's eyes on the upper third line rather than dead center. That one habit separates good crops from awkward ones more than any preset.

Breathing room

Leave a little breathing room in the direction the subject is facing or moving. Cropping tight against motion makes the frame feel cramped.

Watch the circle

When cropping for a circular profile picture, remember the corners will be cut off. Keep faces and text safely inside the middle area.
