About the SPF Record Generator

SPF syntax is unforgiving: one typo or one include too many and your legitimate mail starts failing. This generator builds the v=spf1 string for you from plain inputs, IP addresses, hostnames, mx, a and includes, while counting DNS lookups in real time. It validates the output before you publish and explains the ending qualifier in plain language. After adding the TXT record, run the SPF Checker to confirm it resolves.

Where it helps most

Most valuable during two transitions.

Record consolidation

When services each gave you their own SPF snippet, pasting them as separate records breaks SPF; this merges them into the one valid record DNS requires.

Provider migration

Moving to a new email provider means rewriting the include list; generating it here avoids carrying stale mechanisms forward.

Avoiding hand errors

One malformed mechanism can get the whole record rejected; building it by hand in a text editor is how those mistakes happen.

Lookup-limit safety

Too many includes silently blow past the 10 DNS-lookup limit; the generator keeps the count honest.

How it builds

From senders to a single record.

Add each sender

Your mail provider's include, specific IPv4 or IPv6 addresses, and the a or mx mechanisms if your servers send directly.

One-record enforcement

The tool combines everything into a single v=spf1 TXT value, enforcing the one-record rule automatically.

Your qualifier

Finish with ~all while testing, -all when you are confident every sender is listed correctly.

SPF Record Generator: built for trust

Copy the output into your DNS zone, then verify it with the SPF checker. No signup needed.
