Single-sample rule: every key found starts as required. In arrays, a key stays required only if every element has it.
Paste a sample JSON value: an object, an array, or any payload you work with.
The schema appears instantly, inferred from every value in the sample.
Adjust nothing here; copy or download the schema, then refine required fields and formats in your editor.
Validate future payloads against it with your stack's validator.
Schemas written from memory drift from the data they describe. This generator works the other way: from a real sample payload it infers the full structure, nested objects, merged array element shapes, integer versus number, and the everyday string formats, email, date, date-time, URL, that validators actually enforce.
Its array handling is the part developers feel most: paste an array of a hundred records and the element schema is the merge of all of them, with required demoted for any property even one record lacks. That single behaviour produces schemas that survive contact with real data instead of failing on the first odd record.
Everything runs in the browser, because sample JSON in real projects is rarely toy data. Generate here, then keep the schema beside the JSON tools on this site: format and validate the payloads, convert the ones headed for spreadsheets, and let the schema keep the contract.
